I think it is about time we start talking about gun legislation to protect children in schools especially younger children. We need more people to start talking about it.

The gunman shot his mother at their house and killed her. Then he went to the school and into his mothers classroom and killed all the children in her class. He also killed 6 adults at the school including the principle, counselor, and a few teachers.

This is pretty cool. If I knew you could do this kind of stuff I would do it too. He is getting a pretty good amount of money for changing his name and also wearing shirts that advertise companies. It's crazy that someone would pay $45,500 for someone to change there last name but still Jason is definitely making out pretty good in this whole thing.

If I were to change my name I would probably do what Jason did and sell it and let someone give me a last name. I would probably switch after like a tear and get even more money to promote a big company. That's definitely  what I would do if I had to change my name.

I don't think you should be kicked out of the army for being obese. A lot of people go into the army to defend our country and they get repaid by being kicked out for being too big. The army should try to help them lose the weight before they kick them out.

The Sissonville fire was a pretty crazy fire. I heard about it in Mr. Poling's class. He stopped what we were working on to show us the pictures. One of the pictures I looked at today was crazy. The highway was burnt and there was a sign that had turned white because the paint melted off of it.

This just goes to show how, one, violent video games influence what young kids do and, two, how weak our gun control laws are. These kids that did this need some serious help and need to see a counselor.

In my opinion women should be allowed to join the infantry. Even if she does get pregnant and they send someone else to replace her you should still trust them because they are in the army with you going into the same dangerous position as you. The least you could do is trust them.

Go Green

PRO:

1.       Going green could save many species of animals.

2.       It would cut back on pollution.

3.       People will save a lot of money.

4.       Everybody would good about themselves.

5.       People will be more healthy.

6.       It will improve your overall quality of life.

7.       If you have a compost pile, you can us it as fertilizer for a garden.

8.       The air will be cleaner.

9.       There will be cleaner and more usable water because it won't be so polluted.

10.   We would reduce the effects of global warming.

CON:

1.       When you turn lights on and off it actually uses more electricity than just leaving them on.

2.       In a study people who bought high efficiency washers they increased clothes washing by nearly 6 percent.

3.       Out of a group of 500 people that greened their homes a third saw no reduction in bills.

4.       The technology people would buy to go green would probably cost more than your house.

5.       It would take a long time to get everyone to go green.

6.       A lot of people probably wouldn't go green.

ESSAY:

I feel  that if everybody went green it would definitely be a good thing. However, trying to get the whole world to go green in my opinion would be impossible. Even trying to get half of the world to do it would be extremely difficult. I don't even think that would be possible. In my opinion more people should definitely try to do more to go green because it will save you money and help you live a healthier life. More people should seriously try to go green or at least participate in it in some way.

This filibuster has definitely become something that senators abuse to basically get what they want. All a senator has to do is make a phone call to the capitol and threaten a filibuster which will waste four days of the senates lives. I would probably be mad if someone called a filibuster because that would waste my life.

I think this is stupid. In my opinion this is gonna make even more students drop out than there already are. I'm glad Philip Barbour doesn't have to do this.
